This refers to the distance from the edge of your door to the center of your handle or lock. It’s important to ensure your new lock aligns with your existing cutout.
Most locks are designed for standard door thicknesses. Measure your door from one side to the other to confirm it’s within the supported range.
If your door has multiple handles or a top and bottom lock, measure the vertical distance between them. This ensures the new lock doesn’t interfere with existing handles or fixtures.
