Security Alert: Intruder Tries to Break into Yishun Resident’s Home Using a Digital Lock

The 57-year-old resident, who had installed a digital lock to ease access for his elderly mother, was alarmed to see through his surveillance camera that the stranger had bent down several times within a five-minute span, attempting to enter different passcodes to gain entry.

The resident, Mr. Fang, had been alerted through his phone, connected to the digital lock’s security system, which made a loud sound at 4 a.m. He described the intruder as appearing in his 30s, dressed in a black shirt with a bag slung over his shoulder. Fortunately, Fang was able to confront the person, who quickly left the scene.
